MVCG helps those in Medstead who need transport to hospital, dental and doctors' appointments, collection of prescriptions/pensions or assistance with shopping. In certain circumstances it can also provide practical help and emergency meals. It is a registered charity and is run entirely by unpaid volunteers in the village. It asks for donations for its services only to cover transport costs.

MVCG always welcomes new volunteers, as drivers, coordinators or other helpers. It is a very good way to get to know the village when you move in.
