A great course for those who know how to thread their sewing machine - but not much else! Basic stitches, how to hem, putting in zips, buttons and button holes all leading up to making a skirt!

About the event
Over 4 nights, learn an amazing array of the basics that will help you get your sewing ambitions underway!
Guided by the amazing Wendy Turner - who's worked with the like of McQueen, Ralph & Russo, Roland Mouret, M&S Twiggy - as well as her experience as Lecturer at London College of Fashion, University of Southampton & Winchester School of Art.
This course is £75 over the four nights - and includes tea/coffee and some snacks to help your evening go well!
You need to bring a (and be able to thread) a sewing machine, as well as:-
a tape measure
thread/bobbins and pins
propelling pencil and rubber
pen
For week three and four you'll also need 1m of pattern paper or wallpaper lining paper, fabric (check with Wendy how much), thread and 9 inch zip colour matched to your material.
