Hire charges and important Terms and conditions 

Standard Rates (from 1st January 2020)

  • Rates shown are per hour or part thereof.

  • There is a 20% discount on the above rates for Medstead Residents.

  • Time booked must include any setting up and clearing up time, as required.

  • Hiring of the Main Hall or Wiltshire Room includes shared use of the Kitchen for tea/coffee making.

  • There is a £15 charge for use of the Hall's alcohol licence which includes use of the bar facilities and glassware. This charge applies for any consumption of alcohol, whether or not it is sold. 

  • There is a £50 charge for use of the cooking facilities and tableware.

  • Room hire includes use of the Hall’s WiFi broadband service – password available on request.

  • A security deposit may be required.

  • Payments can be made by cheque or electronic bank transfer. CASH CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.

Cancellation Charges
In the event that the Hirer should need to cancel a booking, contact "bookings" 

The following charges will then be applied:

  • More than 28 days notice: No charge and security deposit will be returned.

  • 14 to 28 days notice: 50% of the hire cost.

  • Less than 14 days notice: 100% of the hire cost.

Medstead Village Hall is a Registered Charity, administered by the Medstead Village Hall Management Committee. The Hall is funded by income from: hiring's, the Medstead Times, fundraising events including 'Hit The Limelight' shows, grants & donations.
